For one month only, DJ Arwyn is our resident — previously of Café del Mar in Ibiza, and here for an exclusive Anglesey residency across the whole of August.
Café del Mar built its name on one simple thing: the right record at the moment the sun touches the water. It only works if you've got the sunset to go with it — which is the reason this makes sense here and wouldn't make sense in most places in Wales.
Porth Tyn Tywyn faces due west into the Irish Sea. Nothing between us and the horizon. Arwyn is curating the music across the month — warming up the early evening, holding the room through the live sets, and taking the last hour of light himself.
